The Zeiss Lightsheet Z.1 microscope system is designed for use with clearing methods to facilitate light-sheet fluorescence imaging.

It acquires multiple tiles of Z-stacks with several thousand high-quality images for enhanced medical imaging.

It offers high light efficiency and a typical imaging speed of 10 to 40 fps. Large samples of 3-D images produce datasets in the terabyte range. The microscope incorporates arivis AG Vision4D visualization software.
