Omicron LedHub LED Light EngineOmicron-Laserage Laserprodukte GmbH offers a new adaptable light source for microscopy, flourescence analysis and multispectral forensics.

The LedHub LED Light Engine can be equipped with one to six LED modules with optical output powers up to 5000 mW and wavelengths from 365 to 850 nm.

The system offers fast analogue intensity modulation with up to 200 kHz and digital modulation with a switching time of <2 μs for each channel. The modulation is possible via an internal programmable signal generator, as well as synchronized external modulation signals from cameras, microscopes or DAC cards.

Direct, active temperature control of the LED chips allows the power level and emission spectra of the LED chips to remain stable. Optics allow efficient coupling to quartz glass fiber or liquid light guides. The system can be equipped with 25-mm standard filters to tune individual LEDs for a given application.
