Lumencor offers a range of bright, mercury-free light engines for life sciences applications including fluorescence microscopy.

The light engines are equipped with 3- or 5-mm diameter ports for a liquid light guide and have lifetimes of more than 20,000 hours.

The SOLA series produces continuous white light from 380-680 nm and an intensity range of 40-50 W/cm2. The Spectra-X includes six individually selectable sources to cover a wide spectral range and seven bandpass filters for each color source.

The light engines are distributed by Edmund Optics.
