LED-Transmitted Light Illumination BaseA slim 41.5-mm LED-transmitted light illumination base from Olympus Corp. contains an easy-to-use turret system that can be loaded with up to four cartridges.

Designed for use with the SZX and SZ series of stereo microscopes and the MVX10 fluorescence microscope, the base offers nine cartridges with different observation methods including brightfield, darkfield, polarization, and oblique, as well as three levels of contrast.

The LED lamp provides color stability, easy maintenance, reduced operating costs, and low running temperatures.
