Femtolasers.jpgThe Integral OCT ultrabroadband coherent light source now is available from Femtolasers Produktions GmbH to support ultrahigh-resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT). At a wavelength of 800 nm, it delivers a bandwidth of >150 nm at 3 dB and yields an output power of >40 mW with an axial resolution limit of <2 μm. It is suitable for 3-D imaging of individual cells and subcellular structures, spectroscopic- and polarization-sensitive OCT, encoded endoscopy and nondestructive quality control.
