AlphaBright.jpgAlphaBright, a division of ZiNIR Ltd., has unveiled a VIS-NIR light source with applications in optical coherence tomography and analysis of poorly reflecting materials, as well as spectroscopy. The unit warms up in about 10 min, and the output intensity is stable to less than ±0.1%. Its design ensures that the light remains focused on the optical fiber cable, even when used with neutral-density, bandpass or edge filters.
