KONSTANZ, Germany, July 22, 2022 — Line-scan CameraThe allPIXA SWIR 512 line-scan camera from Chromasens GmbH is designed for the nondestructive inspection of objects in the IR spectrum.

Simple to integrate with a choice of GigE Vision or Camera Link interfaces, the cost-effective SWIR camera enables the detection of minute defects or contaminants. Leveraging an uncooled InGaAs sensor, the allPIXA SWIR 512 images in the 950- to 1700-nm range, identifying defects and distinguishing objects by absorption, reflection, or transmission characteristics. It delivers 512 × 1 resolution and benefits from 25- × 25-μm square pixels. The deeper well of the larger pixels makes it easier to meet optical resolution requirements, reduces imaging saturation, and improves the overall dynamic range of the sensor, even in lower light environments.
