Line Extenders and System Amplifiers from Applied Optoelectronics Inc. are designed for fiber optic access networks.
The QBGMLE line extender amplifiers offer >44-dB forward gain, while the QBGMSA system amplifiers offer >48-dB forward gain and is available with dual or triple-outputs. The devices are factory configured with a reverse amplifier, diplex filters, thermal compensation, forward interstage pads, and equalizer. They are available as an insert to existing compatible housings or as a complete amplifier with housing and power supply.
