The SDLM-051-095-01-05 compact linear actuator from Moticont is directly connected to the shaft for the greatest possible bandwidth and accuracy.
The integral, linear optical quadrature device measures just 2 × 3.75 in. with a 1-in. stroke and a 5-μm resolution. Fully enclosed, the motor features a continuous force rating of 7.6 lbs and a peak force of 24.1 lbs at a 10 percent duty cycle.
Applications include vibration, noise cancellation, photonics, gimbals, antenna positioning, medical devices, semiconductor handling, surface mount technology machines, assembly, wafer handling, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners, and laser beam steering.
