IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 9, 2014 — Newport Conex-NSA12The Conex-NSA12 by Newport Corp. is a miniature motorized linear actuator that features iPP stepper motor controller technology.

It has an open-loop stepper motor that provides 11-mm travel for loads up to 28 N. The actuator touts a nonrotating tip that prevents wear and avoids periodic motion variations, and its design virtually eliminates backlash.

It is designed for motorizing mirror mounts, rotation stages, linear stages and other manual positioning devices.
