Linear Array DetectorsAmes Photonics has announced the LARRY USB series of linear array detectors, offering cost-effective, scientific-grade performance for a wide range of spectroscopic applications.

The devices are compatible with most spectrographs, featuring sensitivity from 200 to 1100 nm with low noise and high dynamic range. They are also fully compatible with Ocean Optics software, enabling a broad scope of features. Direct PC control via USB 2.0 allows plug-and-play operation. Multiple detectors can be controlled in the same software, enabling simultaneous acquisition.

The detectors are ideal for upgrading existing spectrographs and other systems, along with incorporation into flexible new spectroscopic instruments.
