DEER PARK, N.Y., June 30, 2015 — Nutec Lineax-6Part of the Lineax-6 series, a new modular linear servo-motor-driven stage from Nutec Components Inc. offers travel ranges from 50 to 600 mm.

It is equipped with a robust, iron-core motor for excellent thermal behavior, enabling 24/7 operation. Linear velocities up to 1.5 m/s are possible. The stage also features a high-resolution linear encoder with a 50-nm signal interval.

The stage is available as a translator module or subsystem ready for operation with a computer numerical control system.

Typical applications include laser micromachining, metrology, optical inspection, additive manufacturing, 3D modeling and similar microlevel processes.
