VAN NUYS, Calif., May 12, 2021 — Linear Voice Coil ActuatorThe GVCM-019-016-02 Linear Voice Coil Actuator from Moticont is a small, 0.75-in. diameter actuator and electric cylinder with a force to size ratio of 7.4-oz continuous force, 23.7-oz peak force, and a stroke length of 0.250 in.

The housing measures 0.625 in. long and in its fully extended position, extends to 0.436 in. beyond the face of the housing. The device features high acceleration and deceleration, high speed, high reliability, and zero backlash.

The brushless servo motor is a low-cost replacement for pneumatic linear actuators, along with heptic feedback and pipetting in medical devices, switch activation, testing, sorting, assembly equipment, work holding and clamping, scanners, laser beam steering and filtering, machining and drilling, optical focusing, and dynamic vibration absorption.
