VAN NUYS, Calif., Aug. 2, 2018 — Linear Voice Coil MotorThe GVCM-051-089-05S06 Linear Voice Coil Motor from Moticont is a compact device with a high force-to-size ratio.

The device allows 5.5 lbs of continuous force and 17.5 lbs of peak force with a housing measuring 2 × 3.5 in. The stroke of the motor is 2.75 in., and the precision ground shaft features a diameter of 0.2360 in. with an internal thread. The housing has threaded mounting holes for easy integration into current and future applications.

The brushless actuator features high reliability and is ideal for medical devices, assembly equipment, work holding and clamping, antenna positioning, testing, sorting, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners, laser beam steering, and filtering.
