OBERSULM, Germany, July 25, 2013 — IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH has developed a Linux driver (alpha version) for the Raspberry Pi embedded board for feasibility studies and virtualization purposes. It also is compatible with machine vision applications via some single-board computers.

When combined with IDS USB 2.0 and 3.0 cameras, simple applications for kiosk systems, microscopy and the ITS sector can be implemented. Special porting and custom projects are available upon request.
