BioTek.jpgBioTek Instruments Inc. has launched the MicroFlo Select Dispenser, a device that delivers volumes from 0.001 to 10 ml to 1536 wells in 18 s using a peristaltic design. Users can dispense up to eight reagents at a time with the ability to skip microplate columns or rows for customized dispensing patterns. The dispenser accommodates six- to 1536-well microplates, polymerase chain reaction trays, deep-well microplates, microtubes and other tube configurations up to 4 in. in height. A full variety of cassette sizes are available and can be autoclaved without calibration.
