Femto Messtechnik GmbH’s low-noise input cables, available from Electro Optical Components Inc., minimize triboelectric and microphonic noise for its signal recovery amplifiers.

Manufactured with a semiconductive layer between the dielectric and shield, the cables reduce noise by a factor of 1000. They offer an insulation resistance specification of >1014 and a highly shielding coaxial design, and are available in lengths from 0.1 to 1 m.
