JENA, Germany, March 20, 2014 — Jenoptik’s Lucid arena pro LED hall luminaire, developed in collaboration with Leids GmbH & Co. AG, can now be controlled with sensors and situation-based automation.

The >100-lm/W luminaire provides 25 percent more brightness and uses only 10 percent more power than conventional models. It is available in two versions, one with an elliptical light cone for storerooms with aisles (30°/60°), and the other with circular lighting for factory buildings, gymnasiums and commercial premises (60° narrow angle or 120° wide angle).

The light source is resistant to cold temperatures down to –25 °C, and, in higher temperatures, its metal heat sink protects it from overheating. It has a life span of 60,000 h.
