Machine vision company iiM AG is expanding its Lumimax product line with various LED mounting solutions for industrial component integration. The holders are designed mainly for applications with small operating distances up to 500 mm, such as code reading, assembly and completeness inspections.

These holders allow Lumimax LEDs to be attached directly to selected machine vision cameras, such as the Cognex InSight 5xxx series, the Simatic MV440 and the Baumer Verisens XC series.

The proprietary ringlight CRC70/FL, for example, can be clamped with a 20-mm protective tube extension, which can be mounted multiply in a row. This configuration makes it possible to use larger or longer lenses such as telecentric. Multiple 25- and 50-mm mounting extensions enable the illumination angle and operating distance to be adjusted precisely.
