Newport Corp. has introduced the M1 mirror mount for general beam-steering applications, and the BPH series multifunction slotted-base post holders for stable mounting to optical tables.

The M1 series is available in aperture and clear edge options for maximum beam clearance. Both versions hold 25.4-mm-diameter optics that can be adjusted through an angular range of ±4° using two high-precision 100-tracks-per-inch fine adjustment screws. Horizontal and rear mounting features provide flexible positioning.

The patent-pending BPH post holders feature an integrated slim-slotted base, while the top surface has a series of indentations for use with the optional BPH post collar to provide repeatable, kinematic rotational alignment and indexing. The series also features a post brake design with quick-lock mechanism, which secures the optical post in position, even after the locking screw has been fully loosened. The base has both angled and straight reference surfaces, allowing edge-to-edge placement of adjacent post holders, which come available in four standard heights.
