The latest addition to JAI Pulnix Inc.'s line of AccuPixel dual-tap cameras, the TM-6740GE machine vision camera operates at 200 fps at full resolution and, in partial scan and binning modes, at up to 3205 fps. Supplied in a 50.8 × 50.8 × 85.1-mm housing, it features software-selectable 8- or 10-bit analog and Gigabit Ethernet output. The 1/3-in. VGA-format progressive-scan camera is based on the 640 × 480-resolution Kodak KAI-0340 CCD imager, which has 7.4-µm square pixels. Features include full asynchronous reset with electronic shutter up to 1/64,000 s, automatic dual-channel compensation and a built-in pattern generator.
