Precitech Inc.'s Nanoform 700 is a precision machining system designed for aspheric turning and grinding applications. It has a load capacity of 125 kg and a swing capacity of 700 mm. This two-axis contouring machine is arranged in an elevated "T" configuration that uses high-stiffness, friction-free, hydrostatic oil- bearing slideway assemblies, and it rests on active leveling air isolation mounts. The company's Ultrapath DSP-based machine control system provides a 1-nm programming resolution and subcount feedback signal interpolation. A wide range of accessories is available.
