The system features an Nd:YVO4 laser, a 120-kHz repetition frequency and a highly dynamic digital scanner. An automatic laser power calibration system ensures equipment functionality for tightly regulated processes, such as medical applications. Short pulse duration enables reduction of the heat-affected zone. Even at the highest marking speeds, the spot is maintained at 40 μm for a mark field of 120 × 120 mm.
