TORRINGTON, Conn., April 11, 2013 — The MD 1901-M from Dymax Corp. is a flexible LED-curable coating for medical microcircuits used in medical pumps, wound-care devices and hearing aids.

The low-durometer coating, developed to be tack-free immediately after curing, helps prevent potential defects that could result from the handling of components too soon. Its secondary heat-cure capability provides a solution for areas that may be shadowed from the light source.

The 1901-M’s ability to resist cracking or delamination when flexed makes it suitable for flex circuits. It is ISO-10993-5 approved for customers seeking a medical-grade electronics coating, seal or moisture barrier.
