The OMH-67452B is an optical power and wavelength measurement head for ILX Lightwave Corp.’s OMM-6810B optical power and wavelength meter. It is water-cooled to provide continuous measurement up to 30 W from high-power laser diodes, including single emitters and fiber lasers. The calibrated head provides NIST-traceable power accuracy of ±5% and wavelength accuracy of ±1 nm from 800 to 1100 nm. A fiber exit port connects to an optical spectrum analyzer or other instrument to make spectral measurements. The device uses integrating spheres and photodetector technology to provide instantaneous measurements.
