MEASUREMENT HEADS For applications requiring the measurement output of broadband light sources, Ophir Optronics Inc. offers the PD300-BB radiometer head, which has a spectrally flat response from 400 to 1000 nm, giving the true total power of any broadband light source in that region. Designed for measuring illumination sources, the PD300-CIE photometer head has a spectral response of 400 to 700 nm, similar to that of the human eye, and can make measurements in eye-response units of lux. Incorporating a small detector, which is overfilled by the source, the device will measure the light-intensity-per-unit area in units of lux or footcandles.
