MEGAPIXEL CAMERA The Silicon Video 9T001C from Epix Inc. is a 3-megapixel camera system that has a maximum array resolution of 2048 × 1536 at 10 bits per pixel, and a programmable area of interest and pixel clock that achieves frame rates from 12 fps at 2048 × 1536 with a 48-MHz-pixel clock. It also operates at 65 fps at 800 × 600 and at 30 fps at 2048 × 660, both using a 70-MHz-pixel clock. The Pixci SI PCI interface supplies power, exposure control, trigger input and strobe output. The device is suitable for microscopy, machine vision, motion analysis, biometrics, inspection, quality control and security.
