Unitron_TempMEC2.jpgAn inverted trinocular digital metallurgical microscope has been unveiled by Unitron Ltd. The MEC-2 offers bright-field and polarized light along with durable construction. It features achromatic infinity-corrected objectives, and its wide-field eyepieces provide clear, flat images. It has a built-in Koehler vertical illuminator with a 30-W 6-V halogen lamp and a large, fixed stable stage. Digital or video cameras can be added. Filters include daylight blue, green, yellow and ground glass.
