Steinmeyer.jpgManufactured from anodized aluminum, the MT 130-50-DC micro-manipulator stage offers travel of 50 mm with positioning accuracy of 10 μm, and repeatability and straightness/flatness runout of ±1 μm. Available from Steinmeyer Inc., it has a 130 × 130-mm footprint, a height of 43 mm and a weight of 9 kg. It features preloaded cross-roller bearings, a precision ground ball screw, limit switches and an integrated DC motor with a rotary encoder. It can be configured as an X-Y or X-Y-Z axis system. Motor, encoders and cabling are inside the table’s body. Motor, limit switch and encoder interface are via Sub-D connectors located in one area.
