BOZEMAN, Mont., Feb. 5, 2014 — Quantum Composers MIR SeriesDesigned for industrial, medical and research applications, a new midwave-infrared laser from Quantum Composers offers software-selectable output pulse energies.

The MIR Series features high pulse energy, single-mode emission and user-friendly, turnkey operation. The diode-pumped system eliminates the need for scheduled maintenance and water cooling.

Applications include ablation and ionization for mass spectrometry, MIR spectroscopy, remote sensing and lidar.
