TAMPERE, Finland, Sept. 3, 2013 — The ML7710-PDT laser system from Modulight Inc. is equipped with all required functionalities for safety and usability in photodynamic therapy applications.

Features include a touch-screen user interface; seven individually addressable fiber output channels; aiming beam; internal calibration module; foot/hand switch; fiber sensors; and safety interlocks. Optional services include customized treatment flow, individual industrial designs, and annual calibration and field services.

The system supports all common photosensitizers from 630 to 760 nm and can be configured as a multiwavelength laser system.
