The FCC-1M cooled monochrome camera from Framos Electronic Vertriebs GmbH includes a Sony progressive-scan 2/3-in. CCD imaging array with 6.45 x 6.45-µm pixels and 1392 x 1040 resolution. The company says that the camera offers 65% quantum efficiency at 540 nm and exceeds 50% at H-alpha wavelengths. Features include a low dark signal and antiblooming characteristics. The user can download full-resolution images via the internal USB 2.0 interface in 3.7 s or with a USB 1.1 interface in 7 s. Windows-based capture software is included.
