MONOCHROME CAMERA Kappa opto-electronics GmbH has introduced a monochrome video camera with increased resistance to temperature, shock and vibration. The CF 8/5 MX operates at a supply voltage of 9 to 36 V and features 12-bit digital signal processing and a signal-to-noise ratio of >58 dB. Various functions are available via the RS-232 interface, such as automatic gain control, horizontal image mirror and selectable measuring windows. Other features include an integrated line generator and a restart/reset function for synchronization with external events. The CF 8/5 MX camera is suitable for quality assurance, industrial image processing and laser applications.
