Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. has optimized its new black-and-white microminiature video camera for precision applications such as robotics, machine vision and pipe inspection. The IK-M41MA employs a 1/2-in., 410,000-pixel CCD sensor to achieve 570-line resolution and a >56-dB signal-to-noise ratio. Minimum illumination is 1.8 lux at f1.6. Among features are nine preset electronic shutter speeds, one-pulse trigger mode and a reset/restart function for improved vertical scan control.
