MONTREAL, Feb. 10, 2016 — Nüvü Caméras Inc. now offers a multiple regions of interest (mROI) feature for faster electron multiplying CCD acquisition (EMCCD).

The mROI for EMCCD offers adaption of the sensor’s imaging area to better capture scattered dynamic events. It allows the selection of specific areas of the detector performing acquisitions according to activity across the field of view. It results in faster acquisitions, as only the pixels of interest are read. Users can position up to nine ROIs on the detector at once.
