MADRID, March 3, 2016 — MWIR CameraThe TACHYON 1024 microCAMERA from New Infrared Technologies Ltd. is a miniaturized, uncooled, midwave-infrared (MWIR) camera designed for integration in production processes. 

Priced for cost-sensitive machine vision applications, the camera has an industrial USB connection and a 1-kHz frame rate. A 24-mm lens and an integrated temperature sensor ensure snapshot image acquisition and raw data transmission.

The device features water-block and diamond-like carbon coating for use in harsh environments. Applications include industrial manufacturing process control, laser process monitoring, gas and flame detection, machine vision and OEM integration for the automotive, home appliance, metallurgy and petrochemical industries.
