Machine Vision CameraThe SilkyEvCam ultra-compact machine vision camera from CenturyArks Co. Ltd. is an industrial USB device featuring Prophesee SA’s Metavision sensor.

The camera provides high-performance sensing capabilities, artificial intelligence processing, and deep learning systems required in areas such as predictive maintenance, manufacturing, factory automation, robotics, and security. Its event-based vision sensor reduces the amount of data collected in a scene by up to 1000× compared to traditional frame-based techniques. It delivers ultra-high-speed vision of >10,000 fps time-resolution equivalent, lower power operation of <2.5 W, and supports a wide dynamic range of >120 dB for effective operation in demanding lighting conditions.
