Machine Vision Lenses  Tamron Co. Ltd. has announced three expanded Ø29-mm machine vision lenses compatible with 2/3-in. imagers and 8-MP resolution.

The new models: 12-mm MA23F12V, 16-mm MA23F16V, and 50-mm MA23F50V, along with the other lenses in the MA23F series, 8-mm MA23F08V, 25-mm MA23F25V, and 35-mm MA23F35V, offer a total of six different focal lengths ideal for a wide range of applications. They support a 2.74-μm pixel-pitch, reduce TV distortion, and provide high contrast and resolution at commonly used close-up distances. The lenses can be used for machine vision installations that are limited in space and in need of improved anti-vibration and anti-shock protection.
