The latest version of the HALCON software from MVTec Software GmbH reduces programming effort in machine vision applications.

The system makes it possible to inspect complex textures easily and efficiently. New 3D matching technologies can be used to determine the position of objects even more precisely. Optical character recognition has been improved, while innovative deep learning technologies increase the font recognition rate.

HALCON 13 features the debugging of HDevEngine applications. It can locate and eliminate program errors in the imaging part of C# and C++ applications with the aid of HDevEngine in HDevelop, enabling developers to simplify the programming of machine vision applications and save effort, time and cost.
