MERLIC 5 software from MVTec Software GmbH enables complete machine vision applications to be created quickly and easily without having to write code.
With modern deep learning features and improved camera handling, this latest release includes a new licensing model for maximum flexibility. Improved camera handling is provided through the Image Source Manager, separating the image acquisition source from the image processing part. Machine vision applications can be easily copied and run between different systems without adjusting the camera settings. Deep-learning-based anomaly detection provides added value, particularly in applications where few or no sub-par images are available. A classify image tool can be used to assign images to trained classes based on deep learning algorithms.
Users can integrate a machine vision package into their process environment and access innovative deep learning technologies in various applications and industrial sectors.
