REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 22, 2020 — Machine Vision Software ToolkitThe INSPECT R1 Software Toolkit from Radiant Vision Systems LLC is designed for advanced machine vision applications.

Used with a ProMetric® Y-Series imaging system, the user-configurable INSPECT R1 can be applied to detect subtle, low-contrast cosmetic defects on surfaces, and perform finish uniformity evaluation to assess cosmetic quality. To address the need for advanced visual inspection, manufacturers of high-value consumer devices, automotive components, medical devices, and more can apply the INSPECT R1 toolset to analyze images to identify any number of features simultaneously.

INSPECT R1 supports the assessment of features that are both intentional or otherwise, allowing customers to apply specific defect tolerances for pass/fail determinations in production to match their unique requirements.
