Manual-Focus LensesUmicore Electro-Optic Materials has announced two manual-focus lenses to its range of products.

The 75-mm MFX f/1.1, with a barrel focus ring, and the 100-mm TFX f/1.0, with a focus knob for convenient focusing action, join the already offered 50-mm MFX lens. Manual-focus lenses are suitable for systems where the user wants to achieve the sharpest image possible, whether the object is close or far away. The lenses feature an anodized finish with smooth and positive focusing action, interfacing to the camera body with an M34 × 0.5 fitting.

Typical applications include wildlife spotting scopes or hand-held surveillance systems.
