Trumpf.jpgTrumpf Inc. has added the model 3010 marking laser to its TruMark 3000 series. Operating at 1064 nm, the compact diode-pumped solid-state device offers a convection-cooled laser head that is silent without creating unwanted air flow close to the workpiece. With proprietary Navigator software, the intuitive menu can be used to select materials and the marking process. The laser can create a test matrix while the software determines the optimal laser settings, including scanner speed, and pulse frequency and power. The device can be combined with the TruMark Station 1000 and 5000 workstations. It is suitable for marking small batches or individual workpieces, especially metal or plastic.
