BEDFORD, Mass., March 1, 2018 — Marking and Material Processing ControllerThe V2.3 ScanMaster Controller and ScanMaster Designer software from Cambridge Technology, a Novanta Company, is designed for high-end marking and material processing applications.

This latest version offers integrated tool-path capabilities and multihead job deployment while providing tighter integration with a digital Lightning II scan head. The tighter integration enables galvo failure detection; real-time galvo positioning feedback; optimized via-hole drilling control; a high-precision photovoltaic solar cell processing solution; and ScanPack Skywriting for high speed and accuracy.

The enhanced ScanMaster application program interface enables customers to develop unique automation strategies through a .DLL programming interface.
