BAD KREUZNACH, Germany, Aug. 18, 2014 — The new measurement projector and Saphir QD analysis software from Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik GmbH allows automatic assessment of workpieces.

The software produces measurement reports including a graphical log of the measured elements displayed with the live image of the workpiece in the form of an overlay with color coding. It can measure several identical or different parts at the same time.

Users can choose from a 300- or 360-mm-diameter screen, four telecentric objective lenses (10×, 20×, 50× 100×), a fixed objective lens or two- or three-fold revolving nosepiece (turret), and a measurement table with a measurement path ranging from 200 × 100 mm to 500 × 200 mm. The system also features LED illumination for each lens.
