Medical Imaging DeviceThe LC-OCT medical imaging device from DAMAE Medical SAS uses the NKT Photonics SuperK supercontinuum white light laser to detect skin cancer at an early stage and without the need for biopsies.

The device is a handheld imaging probe that looks deep into both the dermis and epidermis in real time. Based on line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT) imaging technology, the system produces optical biopsies. A broad spectrum of light from the SuperK laser enables high-resolution images.
