Process Sensors Corp., IR Temperature Div.Request Info
MILFORD, Mass., Oct. 7, 2011 — The new Metis Vision MV09 thermovision camera manufactured by Process Sensors Corp. is designed for precision temperature measurement and control applications. It features high, drift-free stability with temperature ranges from 600 to 1800 °C as well as a wide selection of variable-focus or fixed-focus lens options. The camera’s high resolution, with 300,000 points of measurement, provides crisp, clear images that identify anomalies in temperature uniformity as well as multiple control signal outputs for alarming and process control.
Equipped with a short wavelength of 0.75 to 1.08 µm that minimizes temperature errors, the compact instrument is a real-time imaging camera with an update rate of 58 Hz. It is intended for use in high-temperature sensing, including steel, ceramics, composites, cement, paper and hazardous waste kilns, metals, research and development, and vacuum/industrial furnace applications.
Easily installed, it is available with a rugged, protective water-cooled jacket and air purge for use in harsh environments. It features adjustable trigger input for remote-controlled activation of captured images, videos and alarms.
The companion VisionWin processing software allows automatic or manual temperature range adjustment and emissivity adjustment between 0.20 and 1, and provides individually adjustable 2- and 3-D images. The software enables line profiling, isothermal images, selection of customized color temperature palettes and image comparison.
