SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 11, 2014 — Integrating the Keyence LK-G5000 series laser, IK 5000 Quadra-Chek metrology software from Heidenhain is a PC-based solution for 2-D and 3-D measurement tasks on inspection machines.

The ability to communicate with Optimet and Keyence lasers provides support for a large scope of applications. Enhanced 3-D profile-fit algorithms provide 5 times faster part fits, with the ability to export measured features in the STEP format.

The IK 5000 Quadra-Chek software standardizes inspection packages in quality control departments, and can be used on a variety of brands and types of inspection equipment, including coordinate-measuring machines and video measuring microscopes.
