piezosystem-jena.jpgPiezosystem jena has expanded its line of micro-objective focusing systems with the addition of the nano-Mipos400CAP. Based on the Mipos500, it has an added nanopositioner with a captive measurement system. It provides 450 μm of travel and resolution in the nanometer range. The nanoX gear design offers bidirectional movement and guidance accuracy without parasitic motion, while an integrated damping system and high proper resonance virtually eliminate the effects of external vibrations. Long-term stability, positioning fidelity and drift-free operation are assured with the system’s integrated positioning sensors. Compatible with upright and inverse microscopes, the system is well suited for applications in biology, medicine and laser technology.
