GROSS-UMSTADT, Germany, July 29, 2022 — Micro Assembly StationThe VersaHybrid Micro Assembly Station from nanosystec GmbH automates challenging manual assembly processes.

Used for complex assemblies which require a precision in the low-μm range, various processing methods are combined in one station with techniques such as micro welding, selective soldering by laser or hotbar, gluing, and fine laser cutting. A high degree of customization is useful for the automation of complex manual processes, and a large work area accommodates several processing stations with different joining and ablation methods. The motion system consists of high-precision stages with linear bearings, linear or brushless direct current servo motors, and optical position feedback. Rotary stages, curved rails and goniometers complement the linear motion to offer adjustment capability in all degrees of freedom.
